Friday’s Five


I’m telling you, the more good I list, the more that comes my way.

I really look forward to Friday’s blog. When I decide for sure how all this blog business is going to shake out, I know I want to keep Fridays.

Here are five good things to remember this week, and I admit, I’m stretching the 5 rule today…

My son started a long term substitute position at an area high school. A job!

My daughter flew away to DC and is settling into a new living space. She also has a job!

I’m making crocheted infinity scarves and even selling a few. Sara created a graphic that I am using on art business cards. Another creative step… !!!

A few friends joined me for a night of art and laughter. This was a great reminder of what matters…

My husband left a white feather on the kitchen table this afternoon. He found it while walking in the woods and thought of me. Happy sigh.

I told you…very good week. That’s just skipping across the surface.

Be happy, dear readers. I woke the other morning thinking, What if we spent our days encouraging our friends and smiling and looking for the good? Couldn’t we change the

  1. Wow, both kids got jobs already. That is a reason to be happy in itself. In fact any on your list is enough. How fortunate that you can name five REALLY good things this week. I’ll bet most of us could if we put our minds to it. And focusing on those happy moments I believe makes you more mindful of them and in turn…happy!
